USA Hockey Inc., is the national governing body for the sport of hockey in the United States.
As such, its mission is to promote the growth of hockey and provide the best possible experience
for all participants by encouraging, developing, advancing and administering the sport in the
country.
U.S. Figure Skating is the official governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United
States, recognized as such by both the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the
International Skating Union (ISU). As the governing body, U.S. Figure Skating's mission is to
provide programs to encourage participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating.
The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) is a non-profit organization, whose purpose is to:
-Develop and encourage sportsmanship between all players for the betterment of their physical and
social well-being.  
-Encourage and improve the standard of ice hockey in the State of Michigan.
-Associate with the USA Hockey and other hockey associations. Conduct ice hockey tournaments and to
select representative teams for other tournaments.
Amateur Hockey Association of Mt. Pleasant. AHAMP is a non-profit organization
that promotes youth hockey in the Mt. Pleasant area. This association handles
the majority of the youth leagues and teams. Teams for all ages (mini-mite
through midget) Regular season runs September- March.
The Mt. Pleasant Figure Skating Club is a non-profit organization. It offers
skating instructions for all ages and abilities, the club provides both group and
private lessons.
